Feverfew is native to Eurasia, but cultivation of the plant has spread throughout Europe, North America and Chile. The name Feverfew means ‘fever reducer’ based on its use as a medicine by the Ancient Egyptians and Greeks, although it is no longer considered useful for this purpose, the name remains.
