I have had an interest in Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy for a number of years, having suffered from ill health most of my adult life, including four different cancers and a number of other surgeries, all of which affected my mental well-being in one way or another. I have used self hypnosis to aid my recovery many times, and for pain management.
I retired from the NHS in August of 2021 to follow my passion for helping those who need support and guidance, and am now able to concentrate solely on that.
All my sessions are tailored individually to you, the client, and can be changed or adapted at any time during a session, or course of sessions, where needed or requested.
All Hypnosis is self-hypnosis, that means you do the work and you are in control, my skill is to guide you through the therapy to the end result you want to achieve. You will never do anything that you don’t want to do, and you are never under anyone’s control. Hypnotherapy is not a Panacea, it cannot cure broken limbs or cancer or any physical injuries or damage, it can however, help you to cope with the situation you find yourself in.
Hypnotherapy is such an empowering way to achieve results in almost any situation from anxiety to hypno-birthing, phobias to habits. The Pandemic has seen a rise in issues that have presented challenges to many individuals mentally and physically, the waiting lists for treatments on the NHS are becoming incredibly long and growing all the time, some of the main issues that many people are suffering from are:
- Weight Management
- Smoking cessation
- Lack of self-confidence/esteem
- Substance abuse
